The tall, statuesque Saguaro Cactus is unique to the Sonoran Desert, and I was captivated by it when I first visited Arizona’s Desert Botanical Garden. I have reinterpreted its monumental geometric form with brushed stainless steel and acrylic glass rods in multiples – an impression of time and place that experiments with light and structure.
