Ferryman’s Crossing II was also inspired by the two humble ferrymen from Herman Hesse’s Siddhartha. This installation continues my exploration of Morse Code as both pattern and language. My hope is that the animated projection will speak to people’s hearts and minds, using the language of Morse Code and the medium of light, with a repeated message that carries the essence of the ferrymen’s love of life.
