Light in the Garden

Munro’s sixth solo US exhibition opened in 2015 at Atlanta Botanical Garden, Atlanta, GA.  Inspired by the gardens unique location in the city, the exhibition was a six piece collection of existing and new works.

Created specifically by Munro in response to the unique landscape and architecture within the garden, the exhibition included two pieces shown for the first time in the US.  A giant sized iteration of his interior piece, Swing Low suspended over the Fern Dell Fountain and the curvaceous energetic forms of Three Degrees paraded the catwalk in the Fuqua Orchid Centre.

Munro created the Forest of Light, an iteration of his iconic work, Field of Light in the Storza Woods. Water-Towers, Beacon and Eden Blooms were re-imagined for the unique spaces offered by the garden.
