Bruce Munro is returning to Waddesdon Manor continuing Winter Light, first established as a 4 year residency with the Rothschild Foundation. Field of Light, will grace the lawns and wooded landscape of Waddesdon Manor’s Avery Glade and will.

Described by Nobel Laureate Frank Wilczek in 2015 as his “Aha” moment and “an inkling of what thought looks like“, Munro first presented the work at Waddesdon Manor in 2013, creating a river of light in the Wild Flower Valley and again for the Rose Garden in 2014. This now iconic piece inspired by a visit to Uluru and the Red Desert in 1992 took 12 years in development and was first installed in 2014 behind Munro’s home in Wiltshire, UK.

This exhibition is now closed.
