Winter Light at Waddesdon

12 November 2014 – 4 January 2015

From 12 November the grounds of Waddesdon Manor, Buckinghamshire will again be transformed by artist Bruce Munro who continues his residency at the Manor with an eight piece exhibit. The exhibition is the fourth project for Waddesdon and forms part of the their on-going commitment to collaborating with contemporary artists as part of their wider arts programme.

The light based exhibition includes existing artworks such as Field of Light which is being shown this year in smaller scale within the Rose Garden of the Manor.  Munro has also created several site specific pieces, notably Gathering of the Clans and the Good Seed, for Winter Light.  For the first time Munro is exhibiting in the Manor with Snow Code a piece created specifically for the White Room and one that continues Munro’s exploration onto the use of Morse code, light, literature and language.
